Start as we mean to go on

We’ve had a very busy start to the year in the Puddle office! From attending charity quiz nights to impersonating the boss on his birthday. Here is a rundown of some of the things we’ve been getting up to in 2019…
You may have seen across our social media channels, we now have our very own, custom made T-shirts designed by our talented Designer, Mark. Don’t worry if you missed our competition to win your own, there will be many more opportunities to get your hands on one!
Our social media team of Charis and Sarah, as well as SEO Manager Adam, had a great time at the Barrett Steel Racing Launch Night in February. Getting to see the new bike ready for their first season racing in No Limits! With guest speaker Chris Robinson making a fantastic motivation speech, as always. We have been a proud sponsor of Barrett Steel Racing for many years now, watching Liam across the country and we can’t wait to see what the 2019 season has to bring the whole team.
As a Marketing Agency, we love a good world/national day or week popping up on our social calendar (any excuse to get out of writing these blogs really). So far we have celebrated National Storytelling week, World Nutella Day, Pancake Day and we can’t forget National Pizza Day! We also raised money for Red Nose Day, even Daisy joined in for this one.
For a week in March, we had the pleasure of having Ben Wright from Craven College join us in the Puddle office for work experience. He spent a day with each member of the team learning about each role and their responsibilities. He mainly enjoyed learning how to code a website with our development team, Luke and Adam, as well as learning some Photoshop skills with Mark. We loved having him in the office and giving him an insight into all things digital. We wish him all the luck for the future.
The social team had a great trip to Marketing Show North in Manchester earlier this year. Listening to some great speakers sharing their expert knowledge in marketing, including the people behind Bee Influence. As a growing agency, it was a great event to learn new techniques from some of the biggest companies in marketing.
What better way to end than with a pint! The whole team had a great evening at Northern Monk for the One In A Million Corporate Partners Quiz Night. We even sponsored a barrel with ‘Scuba Steve’. However, we can confirm that Sarah is not a gracious winner.
As you can see, 2019 has already been a great year and we can’t wait to see what’s to come.
