Apple’s built-in maps feature is a helpful feature to help users get to and from destinations. People use this feature every single day, and Apple has released a new feature that makes it easier for businesses to advertise theirs to clients. 

Introducing Apple Business Connect, a free tool that allows business owners to customise their location for Apple services like Messages, Siri, Wallet and other apps. 

In the Apple Maps app, businesses will really benefit from the newest features launched by Apple. This will allow users to edit basic information such as business name, address and descriptions. They will also be able to add their photos, logos and reviews. Businesses can add “Actions” where customers can make orders and reservations and also incorporate online services such as Instacart and OpenTable. 

Another new feature added will be Showcases, which will be used to promote incentives, discounts and more. This will be available first in the U.S., with more countries added in the coming months.

Not only is this great for business, but it means customers will be able to find businesses easier.

To use Business Connect, you must register with an Apple ID on your desktop or laptop at the Apple Business Connect website. Once Apple has verified the business, they can deliver information at scale through agencies such as SEO, SOCi, Uberall, and Yext.
